Jewellery - Yin and Yang Series

The jewellery in this collection began as mini 'trial' pieces for an artwork idea Larisse had that would engage kinetically. Originally designed to swivel and dance in the wind as part of a larger freestanding installation, these pieces were intended to be life-sized. Not abandoned - that vision may still come to life in the future!
Larisse fell in love with these works in this smaller scale and realised they were perfect as wearable art—dynamic and ever-moving when worn. As an added bonus, when not in use (and without their 'swinging arm'), they transform into elegant, freestanding mini sculptures.
This is the smallest scale Larisse has ever worked in!
Understanding that everyone has unique face shapes and neck lengths, she has designed these pieces with two options: a short (30mm) and a long (50mm) hanging ‘swinging arm’ to suit individual preferences.
